Alta Sound is the home studio of Calgary based Singer / Songwriter & Producer, Phenix Warren. Alta Sound ties together the nostalgic sounds of warbly tape machines, old CBC radio equipment, and a 1970’s Yamaha PM-700 mixing console, with modern recording & mixing techniques, to capture the unique sound of the emerging music scene in Calgary AB.

Alta Sound exists to inspire creativity & to capture the Sound of Alberta that is captivating listeners one amazing song at a time!
